This weekend, Mike Huckabee signed off from his Saturday night TV show on FNC, that probably nobody watches because it's tedious, hokey, and unwatchable, in order to explore running for President for like the 4th time. Really?
Huck's not going to get any financial support from big donors, not with RINO Jeb in the bunch. The field is already crammed with like 12 guys. Can you imagine the debates with that many guys on stage? Ridiculous!
And besides, the conservative base isn't going to support, at least not in any large numbers, a retread like Huck, and mainstream establishment money will go to Romney or Bush. Huck knows this and maybe he was bored with his TV show and this gives him a legitimate out.

I tried to comment to say I don't think he's a RINO but it disappeared into the interwebs.
Don't feel like writing it all again, but he governed Florida as a conservative.
Yeah, but I think he's too socially conservative, or at least socially oriented, for my tastes. I think he knows he doesn't have a chance, but he thinks he can drive the social debate toward more conservative positions on such irrelevant(to me) topics as legalization, gay marriage, abortion, prayer in schools, etc.
I don't really give a crap about any of that, there are bigger fish to fry than social issues that I think should be up to the individual. That's one of the reasons why I converted to libertarianism in '06. The national GOP-debate just got too focused on imposing conservative values on everybody.
Stay out of my wallet and bedroom and you can pursue happiness any damn way you like, I couldn't care less.
I think young conservatives especially have this mindset and old-school guys like Huck have been passed by.
I should have made clear I meant Jeb is not a RINO.
I agree Huckabee is not likely to get nominated and may just be boosting his profile.
