Yesterday in Afghanistan, the Taliban stoned a couple to death because she(19 years old) left the "husband" to whom she'd been SOLD, to be with the man she loved...
About 200 people listen to a Taliban mullah describe why a man and woman deserve to be killed. A few dozen spectators – people from the local community -- start throwing rocks at the woman, who had already been placed in a 4-foot-deep hole. They throw with relish and yell, "Allah akbar."
At one point a large rock strikes her head and she falls down, her burqa red with blood. After the rock throwing ends, a few people debate whether she should be shot. Eventually one of the spectators shoots her with an AK-47. She falls into the hole, out of sight. There is a short period of absolute silence, and then the spectators turn to each other and start talking.
Then the man is brought into the crowd and blindfolded with his own tunic. The same scene proceeds, but with larger rocks and more abandon. He cries as he is killed.
How many of these stories do we need to hear before we finally admit what an abhorrently primitive religion Islam is when practiced by much of the middle east. And don't try to tell me this is an isolated incident when Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and other middle eastern countries have all had stonings, hangings, and other outrageous state murders because of some perceived insult to Islam.

How do the Jews get them to do this to each other?
I'm sure Glen could answer that one....heh heh.
Hey, when it comes to stoning-as-capital-punishment, I'm with you guys 100%.
BTW, for smart guys, your "Jews" comments are curiously imprecise.
My condemnations are reserved for Israel. Not Jews and not even Israelis. That is because many Jews, and even many Israelis, and I view Israel's sins in concert.
I can't help but wonder why, when I say Israel, the echo that comes back from you guys is "Jews". Curious. Curious, indeed.
It's because in general they are considered by many to be synonymous because the Israeli state acts on behalf of all Jews as their homeland. Israel's primary purpose is to exist as the Jewish state, no?
IT DEPENDS ON WHAT THE MEANING OF THE WORD "IS" IS.
Let us stipulate that unless I say "Jews", I do not mean (nor am I thinking) Jews in general.
And when I say "Israel", I explicitly do NOT mean Jews in general. I mean the state of Israel or, more commonly, the Israeli government.
I oppose and condemn Israel because, in my view, it brutalizes and butchers innocent men, women and children. Since most Jews do NOT brutalize and butcher innocent men, women and children, my condemnations do not attend to Jews in general.
It may be true, as you say, that some use "Jews" and "Israel" interchangeably. I am not one of them.

TO BE OR NOT TO BE, THAT IS THE QUESTION.
It is clear from such sites as NKUSA.org, JewsAgainstZionism.com, JewsNotZionists.org and IsraelVersusJudaism.org that the state of Israel does NOT act on behalf of all Jews as their homeland. In fact, to many Jews the modern state of Israel was conceived in sin and born in iniquity.
As JewsNotZionists.org says, "There are … many Jewish movements, groups and organizations whose ideology regarding Zionism and the so-called 'State of Israel' is that … any form of Zionism is heresy and that the existence of the so-called "State of Israel" is illegitimate."
I number myself among those of this mind.
...and still, people will follow. Human stupidity, globally guaranteed by your favorite religion.
