After a little research, I discovered that India still operates more or less under a caste system in which people from different tribal and socio-economic levels must usually remain there with the lower classes consigned to demeaning jobs. Combine that with the colossal overpopulation and shortage of jobs, and it turns out that members of Parliament actually possess their own human Kleenex dispensers. Who knew?
