This is the man to whom 50% of Californians are seriously considering handing their failed state. He said this as recently as 1995.....
The conventional viewpoint says we need a jobs program and we need to cut welfare. Just the opposite! We need more welfare and fewer jobs. Jobs for every American is doomed to failure because of modern automation and production. We ought to recognize it and create an income-maintenance system so every single American has the dignity and the wherewithal for shelter, basic food, and medical care. I’m talking about welfare for all.
It's this idiocy that has all but sunk California as it is. And they're thinking of putting an avowed socialist in charge? How abysmally stupid are you Californians?
If you provide welfare for all, who pays for it? From whom do you take money to fund your Utopian, ideal society of equality? Good grief! That this moron even has a chance at election explains why it's no wonder California is about to tumble into the sea.

I'm a few days behing on the blog, but this statement is utter idiocy. It's like trying to pull yourself up by your own bootstraps as the saying goes. Where does the money come from??? And if everyone is on welfare , who is even working to distribute the welfare??
Right you are Billy. It's what brought California to the brink of default as it is, and he'll finish the job for sure. But if that's what Californians want, don't be whining when the rest of the nation balks at handing you a bailout check to pay for your idiotic decision making.
