For you dilusional liberals out there who think we are not being surveiled by Islamic jihadists, probing our defenses for exploitable weaknesses, read this....LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - An Iraqi national wearing wires and concealing a magnet inside his rectum triggered a security scare at Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday but officials said he posed no apparent threat.
The man, identified by law enforcement officials as Fadhel al-Maliki, 35, set off an alarm during passenger screening at the airport early on Tuesday morning.
A police bomb squad was called to examine what was deemed a suspicious item found during a body cavity search of the man. Local media reports said a magnet was found in his rectum.
"He was secreting these items in a body cavity and that was a great concern because there were also some electric wires associated with that body cavity," Larry Fetters, security director for the Transportation Security Administration at the airport, told reporters.
I'm shocked, shocked that a young Muslim male was caught testing our air-travel defenses. What is it going to take for us to start profiling ALL young Muslim males who are in this country...another 9/11? Three more 9/11's?

Gutless, whining liberals....they won't lift a finger to save even themselves if it means the possibility of hurting a Muslim's feelings.
p.s. Did I mention that he had A MAGNET IN HIS RECTUM? I wonder if it was one of those horse-shoe shaped magnets with the red tips. If it was, I'll say one thing for those Muslims, they are a dedicated bunch.

No racial profiling is acceptable in this country. It makes us no better than our enemies.
The possibility of another successful terrorist incident, in my opinion, is an acceptable price to pay for not detaining, searching, suspecting, or inconveniencing people based solely on their skin color or ethnicity. America must set the example of tolerance and acceptance if we want others to follow our lead. If we start abandoning the constitution when it comes to suspecting Arab males as terrorists, what's to stop the government from making the leap to yound black males as suspects for pot? Or to Catholic preists as pedophiles, or to hispanics as illegals, or to italians as mobsters?
Our standards have to be higher than anybody elses or we cannot tell them how to be.
billb: Why would anyone assume a young black male for a pot head? Why would anyone jump to the conclusion that a Catholic priest is a pedophile: That hispanics are illegals: that italians are mobsters. These are all true facts. Not in all cases, but I sure want the people protecting me (Police/FBI/NSTA) to make real sure those peoples are closely examined even if I am inconvenienced slightly. I would rather be alive and arrive late on a trip than dead because some poor Muslim looking creature was allowed to board my plane without so much as a quick wanding. You must never fly.
I do not want illegals or pot smokers in my neighborhood. I do not care about their color or racial heritage. I care that they are lawbreakers, and I want them put away or sufficiently detered so that they only stay in the "OK to smoke pot and live illegally" areas.
I do not want any pedophiles near my kids or the children living in my neighborhood. If that makes me prejudiced or pedophile-o-phobic, then so be it. I hope the muslim man in question was detained and sent to a maximum security prison, where there are people who will loosen his magnent for free.
