Smelly hippies from Hollywood to Hoboken decended on Washington by literally the hundreds this weekend to protest the war in Iraq. Led by nutty leftists Jane Fonda, Sean Penn, Susan Sarandan, and Tim Robbins, the hemp throng demonstrated their displeasure with GWB and the war with tired rhetoric and by vandalizing the Capital Hill steps with spray painted anti-war messages. For a reason that remains a disappointing mystery to me, the capital police didn't shoot them.

I guess since it was maybe 12 degrees in DC over the weekend, global warming wasn't on the gripe agenda of the perpetually outraged class.
