Lettuce Suspected in Taco Bell E. Coli

WASHINGTON -- Health officials on Wednesday zeroed in on lettuce as the likely suspect in the E. coli outbreak linked to Taco Bell.
Indignant, lettuce denies any involvement...proclaims innocence, vows to hunt down the true culprit. Points leaf at onion.

I understand that the onion took offense to this accusation, but reluctantly peeled back a layer and put the squeeze on that juicy tomato.
The detective emerged from the holding room, teary-eyed from his interrogation of the onion.
The thin-skinned, easily offended tomato, in a saucy reply to the detective about the onion's accusation said, "If I get canned, so will he."
C.Ellory Stalk, their attorney states that they have been moved to the Bloody Mary Building for further testing, as both seemed a little dicey.
