“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Isn't it about time we revisit the issue of racial profiling?

Notice anything similar among these 11 Egyptian students who came to this country legally as exchange students and then mysteriously fell off the face of the earth? Some have been captured, but in places all over the country. They look like fraternal twin brothers of every known terrorist I've ever seen a picture of...

1. IBRAHIM, EL SAYED AHMED ELSAYED
2. EL DESSOUKI, ESLAM IBRAHIM MOHAMED
3. EL BAHNASAWI, ALAA ABD EL FATTAH ALI
4. ABD ALLA, MOHAMED RAGAB MOHAMED
5. EL LAKET, AHMED REFAAT SAAD EL MOGHAZI
6. EL ELA, AHMED MOHAMED MOHAMED ABOU
7. EL MOGHAZY, MOHAMED IBRAHIM ELSAYED
8. ABDOU, EBRAHIM MABROUK MOUSTAFA
9. EL GAFARY, MOUSTAFA WAGDY MOUSTAFA
10. MARAY, MOHAMED SALEH AHMED
11. EL SHENAWY, MOHAMED IBRAHIM FOUAAD

Hopefully these guys will turn out to have had the best of intentions when they skipped town and embarked on their little diasporic adventure, though I suspect a more nefarious purpose to their wanderings.

I'm sorry, but there is too much at stake to let 11 young, middle-eastern men, traveling alone, waltz into the country on student visas and then disappear into thin air. If they cannot be kept up with, then they shouldn't be allowed in. Anybody whose country of origin is a known terrorist host, should be thoroughly vetted prior to gaining access to the U.S., I don't care what their reason for coming here is. If all they wanted to do was learn English, why not take a night class at Cairo University?

I think Homeland Security should put around their necks, GPS collars that explode if they are tampered with. That way we could track their movements and if they stray too far or do something suspicious, push the little red button and KABAAM!!!. Potential threat neutralized.

I know it sounds harsh, but drastic times call for drastic measures.

UPDATE: WASHINGTON (AP) - The last two of the 11 Egyptian exchange students who failed to show up at their college program were apprehended Sunday in Richmond, Va., customs officials said.

See, the authorities can find people when they want to. How about applying these methods to ALL terror suspects, and then adapting the methods to finding and deporting illegal aliens?

Profile away and lets start kicking out all the profiled people. If Israel were in charge, this wouldn't be an issue. How many terrorists climb aboard El Al any more?

Point of the day JC. You get a cookie.

I imagine that after 9/11, and we've seen if a few times since, if passengers on a domestic American flight encounter a suspicious acting guy, they kick the crap out of him and let the authorities figure it out when they land.

Bearing that new air-travel paradigm in mind, I wonder what
would have happened if a couple of those guys had been successful at boarding the planes and then tried t assemble a bomb in flight. I'll bet dollars to doughnuts that passengers would know that it was either life or death right then and there, and attempt to subdue the terrorists en masse, probably killing them with bare hands.

My point is that like Israeli passengers probably are, American passengers, knowing that inaction equals certain death, would not be submissive and cooperative of terrorists.
