“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Europe invites trouble in through its front door

So the Syrian civil war and ISIS operating there has created a mass exodus of refugees from Syria to virtually every country in Europe. ISIS announced months ago that they would be embedding loyalists in with the refugees in order to spread their radical form of Islam to the four corners. Obviously a problem for what ever country hosts them, right now that's Hungary, Germany, and Austria.

Most of old Europe is culturally moribund already, but Germany specifically has a pathological racial guilt-complex so their downfall may happen sooner rather than later due to their willful acceptance of these thousands of undocumented Syrians, many of whom are probably radicalized terrorists.

Many are asking what the US's role should be here. We don't have a role here accept to warn Europe that they are inviting their own doom in through the front door. We should let Europe deal with the refugee crisis and keep a careful watch on our own immigration situation in terms of Syrians moving from Europe to the US.

The "world's policeman" went on extended sick leave in 2009 and we see the results. The "end of history" didn't last long, did it? I'm afraid we waited too late to visit continental Europe for vacation.

Even McCain counseled that we should have armed ISIS, when Al Qaeda was the enemy. Now AQ and the Taliban look like the JV squad. It's too late to be the world police men or do anything about iSIs at this point, short of a full scale invasion of the middle east in multiple countries.

If we do anything, we should consider installing puppet dictators in every country over there. That part of the world thrived when that was the case. It's all they understand.

What we shouldn't do is invite Syrian refugees by then tens of thousands over here to disappear and become radicalized, that is if they aren't already.

“The immigration crisis has not formed organically nor has it formed in a vacuum. The people attempting to enter Europe over the last few weeks are a diverse lot, but the overwhelming majority of them are fleeing countries where the West, the United States, and NATO have brought ‘peace’ and ‘democracy’ in the last few years via bombs, troops, or proxy terrorists. In other words, the migrant crisis was created entirely by the West.”

I basically agree with that, except maybe for Syria where I think a civil war was inevitable regardless. But certainly the idiotic Arab Spring Obama hangs his hat on has been an unmitigated disaster for all involved.

This is why if the US has any role at all, it should be to install or allow a ruthless dictator to rule each and every Arab country where we will all enjoy relative peace, no local terrorism, and stable oil prices.
