Detroit, a microcosm of Obama's America

Meet 45 year old Deon Taylor, pictured here with a few of his brood of 24 offspring. He was found dead in an abandoned house in Detroit, the model city for Obama's fundamental transformation of America. 

Ostensibly the state will now be responsible for the upkeep of this litter, that is if it isn't already, which is likely. Unless you and all your family and friends breed like Deon did, your one or two kids will work all their lives to support his kids. That's how collectivist authoritarianism as a form of government works.....the oligarchs like Obama will force the few productive to work on behalf of the many indigent with punitive taxes, affirmative action, and wealth redistribution all in the name of "social justice".

Take a close look at Detroit.....it is precisely what unchecked democrat rule has in store for all of America.

Shameful political correctness at Ground Zero

Other than the planes actually hitting the WTC, this is perhaps the most iconic image from 9/11. Yet the director of the Ground Zero memorial, Michael Shulan, tried to get this picture cut from the photograph display because to him, it was "too rah rah, America".

What an asshole! This attack happened to America, killed Americans, and any memorial should reflect that. By saying that, he disqualified himself from that position. Clearly his bigger message is that the US is a welcoming, diverse, accepting, and tolerant nation.....gag me!

We are neither welcoming, accepting, or tolerant of terrorists. He wants to make the Ground Zero memorial about something bigger like world peace, universal understanding, and love or some such crap. That's not what it's about. It's about Americans not faltering in the face of barbarians intent on doing us harm and if Shulan waters down the memorial to the point of politically correct meaninglessness, I won't bother to go see it.

Rand Paul for President?

Sen. Rand Paul responded to criticism from Chris Christie and Peter King who attacked him as a "dangerous libertarian" for his isolationist foreign policy ideas......

“I didn’t start this one, and I don’t plan on starting things by criticizing other Republicans,” he said. “But if they want to make me the target, they will get it back in spades.”

Oh, it is on! The more I hear from Rand Paul and conversely, establishment republicans like Christie and King, the more I like Paul and the less I like Christie and King. The establishment GOP may think it has a grip on its base, but if it wants to win elections, they'll need young people. And young voters are solidly against so much war....endless, expensive, pointless war. With talk like this from Paul, establishment republicans had better be ready to debate this issue because Americans want it debated. 

Angelina Jolie, suffer the celebrity lecturers

In discussing her new movie "In the Land of Blood and Honey", about the Bosnain conflict, the always controversial Angelina Jolie took by far her biggest professional risk yet......when she came out solidly against rape during war. 

Way to take a stand there, Angelina.

I find few things more intolerable than the celebrity lecturer......especially when they take stands against things everybody's already against anyway. I hear that next, she'll take controversial stands against pedophilia, kidnapping, and animal cruelty. 

Chris Christie further splits the putative GOP voting base

Given that the Arab Spring, as a seedling of democracy in the middle east, was a total and utter figment of Obama's imagination, and that our adventures in Libya, Iraq, and Afghanistan have been complete disasters, you'd think Gov. Christie would advise a more conservative/libertarian approach to foreign intervention.....but then you'd be wrong......

Turns out Chris Christie is just another big-government neo-con who thinks the US has vital interests in the affairs of literally every nation on Earth. With the sentiment among traditional conservatives to stay out of the business of countries where we have no business, being nation wide, it is odd that Christie would attack libertarians since any GOP candidate will need their vote to get elected for the next few cycles at least.

All I can guess is that Christie has calculated that a if a republican gets elected, it'll be a neo-con like Bush and he needs to stake out a foreign policy position in the moderate part of the spectrum so that he can either get elected himself or get a plum administration position in any new administration. Either way, I have no use for Christie any more.

Family rescued by George Zimmerman shamefully refuses to acknowledge him publicly

What an embarrassing, shameful country this is where a thankful family rescued from their overturned car by George Zimmerman refuses to publicly say anything nice about him because they fear violent mob retaliation.

What an embarrassing, shameful media that refuses to report it because it doesn't fit into the tidy image they've falsely painted of Zimmerman as a deranged racist murderer. 

What an embarrassing, shameful justice system that cowed to the race hustlers who demanded prosecution just because they didn't like the respective skin colors of the shooter and the dead. 

And finally, what an embarrassing, shameful presidential administration that exploits the situation with race demagoguery by intentionally throwing gasoline on the fires of a ginned-up race mob with idiotic, "I was Trayvon" statements.

Illegal aliens, raping and murdering senior citizens that Americans won't rape and murder

Meet 19 year old Sergio Perez. He brutally raped and beat a 93 year old woman in her home in Omaha, Neb. She died from her injuries yesterday. Sergio Perez is an illegal alien who's only been in the US for 4 months.

If we had a legitimate functioning government, the tide of illegal-alien crime would stop because there would be no illegal aliens. Instead we have contemptible bureaucrats who care only about welcoming these hostile, third-world colonists into the country so they can put them on welfare and receive their votes.

Remember when George Bush said we need illegals because they're doing the jobs Americans won't do? Well, they're raping and murdering old women that Americans won't rape and murder too.

Huma Abedin and Hillary Clinton......doormat wives

There is new evidence that the worst husband in the world, Anthony Weiner, continued a "textual" relationship with an unidentified woman, even after his resignation for the same thing, and after his door-mat of a wife Huma Abedin was pregnant. This has everybody wondering just how much very public abuse can one woman take from a cad of a husband?

Well the answer is found in the very close relationship Huma has with Hillary Clinton, the second biggest door-mat wife in America. Solely for naked ambition, Hillary tolerated all manner of embarrassment and humiliation from Bill. Likewise, Huma Abedin is tolerating similar humiliation from her derelict husband.

Hillary's tolerance is for her own political career. Evidently she thinks a divorce would damage her too much. But I wonder what Huma's motive for putting up with Weiner is. She has no ambitions for holding office that I know of. She's allowing herself to be a laughing stock for a schmuck like Weiner. Maybe there's something we don't know, but whatever it is, you can bet she's emulating her mentor, Hillary.

Was Iraq worth it? Hell no!

Was Iraq worth invading? You decide......

11 years after the invasion there are 4,500 US deaths there, countless billions of dollars spent, and a resurgent Al Qaeda is reeking havoc around Baghdad, killing other Iraqis, releasing prisoners, and doing pretty much what they want. The Iraqi government is more unstable and vulnerable to collapse now than at any time. Was getting Saddam out and finishing Bush41's campaign worth it? In another year Iraq will be worse off then with Saddam Hussein.

In my estimation, Iraq has been a colossal and utter failure. The more I think about it, the more this makes sense.....before we go to war, every politician enriching himself with taxpayer money must enlist one of his adult children in the Army and that kid will be on the front lines. Then let's see how many third-world invasions we so cavalierly undertake. I'm betting none.

It's easy to send other peoples' kids to die pointlessly, if your goal is to paint yourself as a tough-on-terror war hawk to the neo-con voters who think everybody's business is our business.  

John McCain, a little too mavericky for his own good

Will all due respect for his 5 years being tortured in the Hanoi Hilton, John McCain's time is about up pretending to be a knowledgeable politician with particular insight into what the US should or should not do in hot-spots around the world. It seems his advice is always to intervene.

When he pressed the JCS for why the Pentagon hadn't already proposed a no-fly zone in Syria, the JCS humiliated J-Mac by pointing out the it would cost $1Billiion a month, would likely result in American forces on the ground there, and would accomplish nothing because Assad hasn't deployed the Syrian Air Force against the rebels....he uses artillery and other ground assault methods.

Add this embarrassment to McCain announcing that the US could easily identify the bad guys in Syria even as he unwittingly met with members of Al Qaeda posing as rebels in Syria, and you have a mavericky politician whose too old and useless to do anything useful. He needs to retire.
