Despite the fact that capitalism has created more wealth and improved immeasurably the lives of more people on Earth in the last 60 years than any economic model in history, dumb liberals want to abandon it in favor of a socialist-like model. Liberals have a way of ignoring the decades of fantastic growth and wealth creation from capitalism, rather focusing on the two years of recession, due to financial corruption and political cronyism, to validate their desire to convert to socialism as a form of economics.

Isn't the left/right debate a bit antiquated? I think it's holding us back. The relationship between wealth and quality of life (beyond a certain point) is tenuous at best and so far capitalism isn't working particularly well at address these concerns. No system's perfect, but why waste our time bickering over spilt milk when we could be directing our efforts towards cleaning up the mess, and learning how we can create less of it in the future.
