Isn't the left/right debate a bit antiquated? I think it's holding us back. The relationship between wealth and quality of life (beyond a certain point) is tenuous at best and so far capitalism isn't working particularly well at address these concerns. No system's perfect, but why waste our time bickering over spilt milk when we could be directing our efforts towards cleaning up the mess, and learning how we can create less of it in the future.
