Environmentalist maniacs despise any big corporation in the agriculture industry, but Monsanto is their favorite target, because they haven't managed to repeat with Big Ag, the jackpot winnings they got from Big Tobacco. Don't look now but these kooks have convinced the delusional morons who run the EU to ban "glyphosate", a broad-spectrum herbicide used to kill invasive plants that compete with crops for water and nutrients.

As with all imagined threats, they casually throw around "cancer" to scare everybody. This turns popular opinion against their target and it gets the voracious trial lawyers involved. Then, it won't be long before the Monsanto hysteria spreads across the pond to the US and the deranged, authoritarian lunatics Obama installed at our EPA focus their gaze like the eye of Sauron, on Monsanto.
These dumb, sanctimonious hippies would happily damage our rich food crop if it meant "sticking it" to a big agriculture company. Trial lawyers will round up any farmers who have cancer and claim to have used Roundup at some point for some jackpot justice awards.
The rest of us will have to accept paying more for scarcer and lower quality food.
