“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Much ado about......politics

So 28 pages of the 9/11 report remain classified. Ridiculously, conspiracies abound regarding the omission, from it was an Bush-administration inside job, to the eeevil Jooos did it to gin up a war against the Arab nations.
What is more likely in my mind is that it details the complicit nature of the Saudis' knowledge of the attack or at least that they looked the other way while it happened, and the US government doesn't want to alienate them because of oil, their grudging participation in the war against ISIS, and because the Obama administration doesn't want Islam to be impugned in any way by linking it to 9/11.

Sometimes countries have to hold their nose when dealing with allies, or even neutrals. A full-on ISIS or al-Qaeda Arabia (they would drop the family name Saud I'm sure) would be a real nightmare.

Roosevelt and his government pretended to believe that "our gallant Soviet allies" didn't murder 22,000 Polish officers in the Katyn Forest.

Unfortunately diplomacy and international cooperation is often just that convoluted.

Just as some today won't admit that General Dwight David Eisenhower murdered over a million POWs in the Rhine Meadows Death Camps.

Isaac, Bacque's calculations were idiotically off....the real number by everybody's estimation, including the Germans, is at most 6,000 out of perhaps 2,000,000 "disarmed enemy combatants". That death rate is among the lowest of any POW camps in any war.

I love how you cherry pick the "stats" that paint the US in the worst possible light, regardless of how outrageously incorrect they are or how suspect the accuser is.

The fever swamps erupt. They probably have whole books full of that stuff in Putin's library.
