Here come the judge

If you haven't read Judge Andrew Napolitano's article, "An Unhappy Summer for Liberty", read it now. With the possible exception of the Ferguson, MO affair, from which we don't yet have all the evidence, I pretty much agree with his points regarding domestic violations of the Constitution as well as our suspect motives for endless war in the middle east. Give it a look-see.

  1. All the good judge said about Ferguson was: "...and in Ferguson, Mo., you can be shot in the head by a cop while unarmed.". Those two assertions appear to be factual enough.

(Whether Brown was a choirboy or a thug is up in the air. He momma say he a choirboy. The po'-leese say he a thug.)

  2. Video shows witness saying Michael Brown was surrendering when police shot him - The Independent

A video of the immediate aftermath of Ferguson teenager Michael Brown’s fatal shooting by a police officer shows a witness raising his hands and saying the 18-year-old was surrendering when he was killed.

The footage, captured on a mobile phone, could bolster arguments and previous witness testimony that Brown had his hands in the air at the time of his shooting, US legal experts have said.

Aired on CNN, the video shows two white Jefferson County landscapers in the street where Brown, who was unarmed, was shot by police officer Darren Wilson on 9 August. One of the men raises his hands and then can be heard shouting: “He had his f***ing hands up.”
