Rachel Carson remembered fondly by Google

Yesterday Google paid homage to the hysterical moonbat Rachel Carson, whose idiotic book, "Silent Spring", led indirectly to the deaths of as many as 50million people, most of them Africans. Because of her dubiously researched conclusions, the most useful chemical every invented by man, DDT, was banned. By banning DDT, and thereby preventing its use in Africa to fight mosquitoes, William Ruckelshaus of the EPA, condemned millions to miserable deaths from malaria, cholera and other mosquito-borne illnesses.
Ruckelshaus didn't read a single scientific report or attend any hearings in which scientists defended its use....he banned it on his fatuous belief in Carson's stupid book and his questionable affiliations with various radical environmental groups.
