MovieReview

We watched a movie last night, August Rush, which, unlike the usual reprehensible tripe we've come to expect from the vapid liberals in Hollywood, turned out to be pretty good. It's about an orphan who turns out to be a music prodigy, and uses his gift as a means to search for his birth-parents. It stars Freddie Highmore and Kerri Russell, with Robin Williams brilliantly playing an Artful Dodger type character.

I know, I know what you're thinking. But Ed, this doesn't sound like a guy movie. What gives?

Look, there are no car chases, explosions, or guns, but it's still a feel-good story that If you're a guy, I recommend you watch with whatever girl is in your life....it's not really a guy flick.
