Carol Browner sticks head in sand over global-warming scandal

In the wake of global-warming having been exposed as the greatest scientific sham of all time, climate czar Carol Browner essentially puts her fingers in her ears and loudly sings, "La, la, la, la, la, la" as the global warming house of cards crumbles around her....


Obama administration climate czar Carol Browner on Wednesday rejected claims that e-mails stolen from a British university show climate scientists trumped up global warming numbers, saying she considers the science settled.

This proves that modern environmentalism is a religion, rather than debatable science, to global-warming believers. How do these sycophants like Browner even get up in the morning, knowing that all they believe in and all that gives their lives meaning has turned out to be a scam perpetrated on them by a boob like Al Gore? I would hate to be an environmentalist this morning and have to look in the mirror and find a reason to go out and fight climate change that I now know to be imaginary, again today.

In Copenhagen later this month, I would love to be a fly on the wall when these guys get together to argue over an issue that was proven to have been faked. How does Obama even show up for this global-warming summit without looking like an idiot?

Is this Mike Huckabee's Willie Horton moment?

You may remember Willie Horton, a convicted murderer who, having been furloughed from prison in Massachusetts, then raped somebody while out. Mass. governor Mike Dukakis was contending for President until Bush '41 ran an ad pointing out Dukakis's support of the furlough program, essentially blaming him for the rape and armed robbery. That turned out to have been the end of Dukakis' campaign. Well, could this be Mike Huckabee's "Willie Horton" moment when he runs in 2012?

Maurice Clemmons, the 37-year-old Tacoma man being sought for questioning in the killing this morning of four Lakewood police officers, has a long criminal record punctuated by violence, erratic behavior and concerns about his mental health.

Nine years ago, then-Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee granted clemency to Clemmons, commuting his lengthy prison sentence over the protests of prosecutors.

"This is the day I've been dreading for a long time," Larry Jegley, prosecuting attorney for Arkansas' Pulaski County said tonight when informed that Clemmons was being sought for questioning in connection with the killings.

Clemmons' criminal history includes at least five felony convictions in Arkansas and at least eight felony charges in Washington. The record also stands out for the number of times he has been released from custody despite questions about the danger he posed.

Huckabee, who ran for the Republican presidential nomination last year, issued a statement tonight calling the slaying of the police officers "a horrible and tragic event."

If Clemmons is found responsible, "it will be the result of a series of failures in the criminal justice system in both Arkansas and Washington State," Huckabee said.

You know Obama will choose just the right moment in the campaign to link these police murders with Huck's granting Maurice Clemmons clemency years before.

Huck's career baloon is in flames right about now while, Romney's, Pawlenty's, and Palin's are rising.

I find not one single redeeming quality in Obama. His inexperience, self-adoration, and delusions of grandeur are startling if not scary to find in a President. I hope we can put the brakes on this guy in 2010....if not, heaven help us!

Tiger update

If you use golf clubs to make your living, you probably shouldn't make your wife mad at 2:25 in the morning....

Tiger Woods was injured early Friday when he lost control of his SUV outside his Florida mansion, and a local police chief said Woods' wife used a golf club to smash out the back window to help get him out.

The world's No. 1 golfer was treated and released from a hospital in good condition, his spokesman said. The Florida Highway Patrol said Woods' vehicle hit a fire hydrant and a tree in his neighbor's yard after he pulled out of his driveway at 2:25 a.m.

Windermere police chief Daniel Saylor told The Associated Press that officers found the 33-year-old PGA star laying in the street with his wife, Elin, hovering over him.

She told officers she was in the house when she heard the accident and "came out and broke the back window with a golf club," he said. "She supposedly got him out and laid him on the ground. He was in and out of consciousness when my guys got there."

I know it probably didn't go down this way but upon first glance you have to ask yourself, why Elin ran to Tiger's aid with a golf club in her hand? It would appear more likely that she was chasing him with the golf club and he crashed the SUV fleeing her. Then when he crawled half conscious out of the car, she whacked him once in the mouth with his own driver.....ouch, the irony!

Sunday Update: It would appear that I was mostly correct. Elin was mad about the rumor of Tiger's affairs and scratched his face in a fight. He wisely fled the scene in great haste with Elin apparently blasting the rear glass with his own golf club as he drove away. This would explain the reckless handling of his car as he egressed the property.

This is appalling! Apparently shooting a terrorist is fine but, whatever you do, don't punch him in the mouth...

Washington (CNN) -- Three U.S. Navy SEALs face criminal charges after the alleged mastermind of one of the most notorious crimes against Americans in Iraq accused them of punching him after his capture, the military said Wednesday.

Ahmed Hashim Abed -- thought to be behind the slayings and mutilation of four U.S. contractors in Falluja in 2004 and captured in summer -- made the accusations against the three servicemen, said Lt. Col. Holly Silkman, a spokeswoman for U.S. Central Command.

This guy is thought to have been responsible for the Falluja massacre and desecration of American bodies, and we're taking seriously his idiotic claim of "police brutality"? Clearly he gets cable in his cave because he knows how to game our upside-down criminal justice system which views criminals as heroes and law enforcement and military personnel as potential criminals. Why would anyone join the military when you are viewed by your government as bad and doing your job may land you in jail?

Like my wife said, if the Navy SEALs have to come find you, you deserve to get punched in the mouth by them.

Jail-break FAIL!!!

If the idea was to escape from jail, then you're doing it wrong....

CLIFTON, Tenn. -- The state Department of Correction said two inmates escaped a minimum security prison in southwest middle Tennessee on Nov. 7 to steal cigarettes before returning, WSMV-TV in Nashville reported.

Adam Garland and Michael Queener are accused of escaping through a window in their cell at the Turney Center Annex and crawling under a fence.

While out, the men stole cigarettes and tobacco products from a convenience store before returning to the prison by going back through the window that they had escaped from, officials at the corrections department said.

If having years potentially added to your relatively short sentences in a minimum-security jail is worth a pack of smokes, perhaps you should take up a different hobby than cigarettes.

Worst police sketch artist.....ever

Apparently there's a reason you've never heard of a single, famous Bolivian artist. It's because they can't draw.

This is a Bolivian police sketch artist's rendering based on a description given by a witness to a crime. Amazingly, the suspect was picked up a few days after this picture was circulated. The story is here but, it doesn't say whether the collar was because of the picture or a just a blind, dumb coincidence. The perp couldn't have been that hard to find regardless....I mean how many dudes are walking around without ears?

Adam Lambert's on the fast-track to obscurity

Talentless, reality-show creation Adam Lambert shocked the TV audience with homo-erotic performance then, stupidly accused complainers of discrimination....

During the closing act, the openly gay singer simulated sex on stage with a back-up dancer and kissed a male musician on the mouth.

Lambert told US network CNN that the kiss was "in the moment".

ABC said the number of complaints was "moderate". The show's producers have declined to comment.

Lambert, who performed his debut single For Your Entertainment, said that if people had been upset by his performance that it is a "form of discrimination and it's too bad".

It's a little soon in Lambert's "career" to be resorting to hyper-sexual performances and accusing critics of discrimination. If he has any talent, which he might, it gets washed away with the in-your-face homosexuality of the performances. Say what you want about the sexual hypocrisy of Americans but, TV audiences are just not ready for the mainstreaming of prime-time, gay smooching and simulated oral sex. When you're already, in your first major performance, resorting to shock-value to get people to notice you, and then cry discrimination when people don't like it, I doubt you'll be very long-lived in the music industry....thankfully for the rest of us.
