Our local Pig has 18 kegs tapped now featuring locally brewed beers and other crafts. At a tasting this week, we discovered Einstok Arctic Berry Ale. Not usually a fan of flavored beers, but this is so subtle that it's quite enjoyable and we filled our growler with it.
The Einstok brewery is 40 miles south of the Arctic Circle and they use water from glacial ice for the beer. They infuse this seasonal brew with local bilberries, which I think is just what they call blueberries in Iceland.
If you haven't tried it, try it. wink emoticon

Sounds like it's worth a try. Have you been to Hop City in Birmingham?
Yeah, they've pretty much got everything, but it's not close to the house so it's kind of out of the way for us. Our neighborhood Piggly Wiggly has a great craft beer and eclectic wine selection and a full-time sommelier to manage it all. Plus we have 3 really good microbreweries in town that put out some terrific product.
