The Government is set to order manufacturers to shrink the size of chocolate bars and fizzy drinks.
Health Secretary Alan Johnson will tell firms such as Mars, Coca-Cola, Britvic and Nestlé that smaller versions of their products should be available in all garages and corner shops to help stop people piling on weight.
The US is about 10 years behind our mother country when it comes to yeilding our freedoms to smarmy, pencil-necked bureaucrats in government who think they know what's best for us. Mayor Bloomberg is about to regulate the amount of salt in the New York restaurant diet for heaven's sake.

Childhood obesity is about laziness and bad parenting, not portion size of candy bars and fizzy drinks.
