My opposition to the barbaric practice of bull fighting is long and storied. (You can't call it a sport when a fatigued, maimed, disoriented, dumb animal is ritualistically slaughtered by an agile man with weapons, purely for entertainment purposes of blood thirsty audiences)
About 40,000 bulls die every year in bull "fighting" arenas and matadors rarely get even hurt. But a couple of days ago a clumsy matador was gored to death in Spain.
YAY, SCORE ONE FOR THE HOME TEAM!
If you want to call bull fighting a sport then the fight should be between a fully healthy bull and one dude with a knife.....that's a sport.
