The North Koreans demonstrate rare competence

Apparently the North Koreans have successfully place a satellite into orbit via a complicated three-stage rocket platform. Of course the South Koreans, Japan, and the US condemned the launch and made all kinds of threats, heh heh, but what can any country do to the Norks that will worsen their lives? Nothing.

Clearly the satellite is intended for military uses, that is if the "satellite" does anything at all. It might just be an object that does nothing. I mean for what purpose do they need a, non-military as they claim, satellite if nobody in the country owns a cell phone, GPS, or television?

As usual the Norks are posturing militarily so the world will give them food and fuel as a bribe for behaving. And the US is just stupid enough to believe them....every President I can remember has been. We'll give them food, medicine, and gas and they'll behave until the next President is elected, then they'll test him too. It's just how North Korea does business.
