The coming war in the middle east

Despite many, including some readers of this blog, who think that the US and Israel are provoking Iran into a war just because we're through with Iraq and Afghanistan and we want to continue killing Muslims/Persians because we like it, here's some provocation for you from Iran.....

From WND -- The Iranian government, through a website proxy, has laid out the legal and religious justification for the destruction of Israel and the slaughter of its people.
The doctrine includes wiping out Israeli assets and Jewish people worldwide.

And lest you think World Net Daily is just a warmongering fascist site from which I'm drawing content, here is the quote from the Ayatollah himself regarding the existence of Israel.....“this corrupting material. It is a “‘jurisprudential justification” to kill all the Jews and annihilate Israel, and in that, the Islamic government of Iran must take the helm.”

That said, I am wholly against the US attacking Iran, enough already with toppling regimes in the middle east. Here's what's going to happen, Iran will wait until it's apparent that Israel and/or the US is poised to attack, then they'll invite IAEA weapons inspectors to come have a look-see, which will postpone for months any attacks. This will go on for possibly years, just like Saddam did in Iraq.

  2. I don't know, Ed. My guess is that Israel will hit them in a preemptive strike. After Israel and Iran start going at it, the other countries in Mideast will see that Israel's attention is diverted and pile on top of them. Simply, Israel will be fighting on all it's borders against all the surroumdinf countries. While they are occupied with that, I suspect that we will go in and take on iran as a way to lighten the load on Israel. Make no mistake- we are going to get bloody on this one.

  4. If we go at it with Iran, we'll certainly get bloody. They aren't the mindless rabble we faced in Iraq or Afghanistan.

  5. If Israhell were destroyed, and the land returned to the Palestinians from whom it was so brutally and murderously stolen, would that be a bad thing or a good thing?

  6. I'm no mid-east historian, but didn't the eeevviill Joooos live on that land too at some point? What about the diaspora? I think the Jews have just as much claim to that land as the "Philistines" do.

  7. Isaac, from what I've read, it didn't exactly happen like that. Your source sure sounds Palestine-centric.

  8. I don't know what you may have read but according to True Torah anti-Zionist Jews:

"From ancient times, the relations between the Jewish and Islamic peoples have always been those of peace and brotherhood, and friendship always reigned between them. The proof of this is the fact that for centuries, in all the Arab lands, hundreds of thousands of Jews lived in honor and amidst mutual esteem."

"We once again clarify that it is our desire to live in peace with our Arab and Palestinian neighbors, as we did before the Zionist revolution…."

  9. If the Palestinians want to live in peace, as they do now in Israel, then explain the katusha rocket attacks by the thousands, the civilian bus bombings, the threatening rhetoric from practically every Arab state in the theater? There are two sides here. The Palestinians aren't the poor put-upon victims of the evil Jooos as you would argue.

  10. POST SCRIPT:
I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about something you wrote on Wednesday, Ed.

You wrote, "I'm no mid-east historian, but didn't the eeevviill Joooos live on that land too at some point?"

The answer to that question is, "No, absolutely not."

Modern day Israelis are not descendants of the ten Hebrew tribes of ancient Israel. Israeli ancestors never lived in the Middle East. Israelite blood does not flow in their veins.

God does not claim modern day Israel (he calls the Israelis usurpers). Most Israelis do not claim God, either. Israel is a secular humanist state and most Israelis are atheists.

Moreover, the ancient Israelites and the ancient Judahites were not Jews. For that matter, Jesus was not a Jew.

The Palestinians, on the other hand, ARE Semites, did descend from peoples who inhabited the land in the time of Jesus. Many, in fact, are blood relatives of Jesus.

Do you want to piss God off? Keep pissing on the Palestinians.
