Today Chairman Zero slapped American citizens in the face yet again by giving his favorite union thug the Presidential Medal of Freedom...
From FoxNews -- President Obama today named AFL-CIO President Emeritus John Sweeney as a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor. The award is presented to individuals who have made especially meritorious contributions to the security or national interests of the United States, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.
Just like with the Nobel prize that Obama received, this honor was unearned and is therefor worthless. Anybody who receives the PMF going forward will think twice before being thankful for it.
Obama never does anything except payback campaign donors for past gifts, or lines up future donations. This is what's going on here. Lazy union thugs turned out big for democrats three weeks ago and Sweeney wanted a payback for it.
On a happier note, in 3 straight union votes this month, Delta Airlines employees rejected unionization, despite new rules imposed by Obama appointees designed to make the vote easier. Naturally, the unions cry foul.
ReplyDeleteI don't get how it's Constitutional to force a worker in any state to fork over earned money to pay for a union membership that he doesn't want. Why aren't all states right-to-work states? How have the forced-union laws gone unchallenged?
