In observance of Earth Day this year, I plan to unnecessarily idle my SUV at a fast food joint, send a garbage bag full of plastic water bottles to the land fill, leave all my incandescent bulbs burning an extra hour tonight, and maybe invest in a Styrofoam packing material manufacturing company.

People were riding their bicycles to work/school today. I suppose to "celebrate". If they really think riding their bicycles will help why don't they ride them everyday?
ReplyDeleteAlso, anyone want to tell Iceland to put a lid on the Volcano over there? God knows what damage it's causing. On the plus side, fewer airplanes flying = fewer pollutants. Maybe this was there way of celebrating Earth Day.
ReplyDeleteAnyone else notice the non-existent coverage of victims in Iceland. I've seen nothing but then again I try not to watch TV.
