Some people just need killing

This is Chelsea King. She's the San Diego teen who disappeared a couple of days ago....

And this is John Albert Gardner, a convicted child molester and the primary suspect in the rape and murder of Chelsea....

Many were at a loss for words over the discovery of a body believed to be that of 17-year-old Chelsea King, five days after the popular, straight-A student from San Diego County disappeared and two days after a registered sex offender was booked on suspicion of rape and murder.

The DA, the trial judge, and the shrinks all agreed when Gardner was busted before, that this guy remained a potential menace to young girls in the community yet, he was paroled anyway.

When are we going to start thinking of the victims first, rather than the imagined rehabilitation of the criminal? If you harm children in any way, you are sick to the point of no return. You cannot be fixed and in a civil society your life should be forfeit. If by chance, you are a child predator of some kind and you are reading this, please.....drink some bleach, cut your wrists, or hang yourself.....something. Seriously, your life has no value and you don't belong in a world with normal people.

Going postal....but not on Saturdays

The USPS lost like a quarter of a billion dollars just in Q4 of last year. Somethings got to give. Maybe it's this.....

Postmaster General John Potter said Tuesday that he intends to seek congressional approval to cut Saturday delivery as part of a wide-ranging plan to close a multi-billion dollar budget gap.

Though the idea of cutting service from six to five days has gotten a cool reception on Capitol Hill, Potter said that the plan would include enough flexibility so that customers who need Saturday service can get it and that this and other changes need to be implemented for the Postal Service to survive.

The argument for continuing the Saturday delivery service is that commercial businesses might suffer without it. But, a vast majority of the cost of Saturday postal service is residential-based so, perhaps the commercial deliveries could remain for a time until the businesses make adjustments.

Honestly, I wouldn't miss the mail if it ran only once a week. That's about how often we bother to retrieve it, much to the annoyance of our delivery guy.

Nothing to see here folks....move along

Well, what do you know? Another campus noose causes disharmony and panic through out the minority population not to mention the frothing by the eager media who love reporting on white racism rearing it's ugly head in modern America. But as is usually the case, the noose was placed there by a minority student for reasons unknown to us now. Here's part of her apology letter.....

"As a minority student who sympathizes with the students that have been affected by the recent issues on campus, I am distraught to know that I have unintentionally added to their pain," the student wrote. She was suspended Friday and remains under investigation for a possible hate crime.

For some reason, race-conscious people who feel they aren't getting enough attention, manufacture attention with stunts like this. Then the white community inevitably gets the blame, when they were actually minding their own business. If a white student had done this, we'd be treated to endless reporting about racism in America but, because another minority did it, the media will shrug and go away. It doesn't fit their template of all whites being racists....a story they love reporting on.

Peeping-Tom-arrest FAIL

A Marietta man went into the women's restroom at a Cobb County bowling alley and stuck his phone under a stall, police said.

Police were called to the scene in the 2700 block of Delk Road around 6 p.m. Saturday, according to Officer Joe Hernandez with Cobb police.

Jason Daniel Hall, 29, was in booked in the Cobb County jail late Saturday evening. In addition to eavesdropping, he is charged with public drunkenness and marijuana possession.

Eavesdropping? Those Cobb County cops aren't too bright are they? He wasn't listening to anybody, he was taking pictures of his stall neighbor on the toilet. Heh, heh...eavesdropping.

When liberals eat their own

I just love when liberals turn on each other and it makes it even better when it's about something as idiotic as global warming....

Environmental activists have blasted Harrison Ford for making "unnecessary" trips by air, following revelations he once made a jet journey to buy a cheeseburger.

I guess the environmentalists didn't get the memo that global warming doesn't exist, the science was faked, and CO2 is a harmless, if not helpful, gas that plants require for photosynthesis.

Government incompetence on display

This is how miserably inept the imbeciles who serve as our government overlords really are....

Two agencies within the Department of Homeland Security reportedly lost nearly 1,000 computers in fiscal year 2008, costing taxpayers approximately $13.3 million.

My family was wise enough to get me out of dreadful government schools and send my sister and me to private schools. That's why I can do this simple math: 1000 lost or stolen computers that cost the taxpayers $13.3million comes out to $13,300 for each computer. Are you kidding me? Only the US government would pay $13,300 for a single computer. And this is the same bureaucracy that we trust to keep us safe, educate our children and, perhaps provide for our health-care? God help us!

The brain-dead democrats have a master plan

Here's the democrats' brilliant plan to convince the American people to buy into their economically and socially disastrous health-care scheme: have democrat drones flood the talk-radio lines with Chairman O's socialized medicine talking points. Yeah, that should do it.

Can you imagine a dumb Obama voter attempting to argue with the likes of Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, Ingraham, or Boortz about how wonderful single-payer would be? They'll be eviscerated in the first minute. It'll be pure comedy gold.

Chairman Zero just will not accept that the American people do not want this idiocy and the harder he pushes us to accept it, the harder we'll push back at the polls.

Obama administration to encourage tourism, inexplicably by taxing it

This is how brain-dead government bureaucrats are. In order to increase tourism in the US, the Obama administration is proposing the creation of a new bloated bureaucracy called the Travel Promotion Office. Undoubtedly it'll be staffed by the same underachieving, otherwise unemployable morons who came up with this harebrained idea.....

In order to fund this debacle, they're proposing to tax travelers by adding a surcharge to their air or boat tickets. That's precisely the tone-deafness I would expect from the Obama administration when inviting foreigners to come enjoy the US...."We want you to enjoy our country but, we insist that you pay for the privilege."

Killer whale doing what killer whales do

I gain no pleasure from somebody losing her life but, you have to expect this sort of thing when you try to domesticate carnivorous top-predators such as they do at Sea World....

"The trainer was explaining different things about the whale..and then the trainer that was down there walked away from the window..and then Telly (the whale) took off really fast in the tank and he came back, shot up in the air, grabbed the trainer by the waist and started thrashing (her) around."

It's only a matter of time, when circus elephants get tired of being mistreated and trample a bunch of people, when tigers get tired of doing stupid tricks on stage and eat their trainer, when grizzly bears get tired of being made to ice skate and slaughter their trainers, when tigers at the zoo tire of people taunting them and escape to hunt the taunters or, when killer whales get tired of living in an aquarium and kill somebody. Seriously, why are people shocked when this stuff happens, because it happens all the time.

Look, I'm no animal-rights nut but I'm just saying, perhaps we should limit the stage performances to cats, dogs, and politicians. Protect the top predators, leave them in their natural habitat, and enjoy them from a distance.
