Rules are for the little people, not for friends of Obama

It's as if Obama isn't even bothering to hide anymore the fact that he is having an affair with Jeffery Immelt of GE.

One month after the EPA began enforcing absurd rules regarding CO2 produced by existing and new power plants, Obama announced the first exemption to those rules. Turns out that the new Avenal Power Plant in California is powered entirely by turbines manufactured by General Electric. You're an idiot if you think that's a coincidence...or an Obama voter, but that's a distinction without a difference.

It's bad enough that GE pays on average 1/10th the corporate taxes of other comparable companies, but to blatantly exempt what is essentially a GE power plant from EPA rules that harm everybody else in the industry, is the epitome of sleazy cronyism and utter corruption.

Immelt was the driving force behind the incandescent light-bulb ban, because GE is the sole manufacturer of stupid compact fluorescent bulbs which we're all forced to buy now. Is there any end to the corruption of the Obama administration?

Do the birthers have a legitimate point?

I hate to keep returning to this story but it won't go away. Much to the delight of Obama birther conspiracists everywhere, Hawaii's dopey governor Neil Abercrombie has been keeping the birth-certificate issue alive for months. He's been promising to produce the document, from the one hospital on the island where babies were born in the early 60's, that proves once and for all that Chairman Zero was born in Hawaii. But he has yet to produce it.

As an Obama lick spittle, gov. Ab cannot accept that his hero may not have been born in the US and is therefore disqualifies from being President. Lapdog Obama supporters point to the newspaper announcement as proof, but any grandparent could have called in the birth announcement. Also, not a single doctor who worked at that hospital at the time can be found who remembers the Obama birth. A black baby being born to a white woman would have been remembered in the early 60's....even in Hawaii.

I've never been a birther but I'm starting to pay attention to the glaring questions right in front of me, thanks to Abercrombie's incessant rambling about, but failure to produce, the document. Specifically, if the Constitution says that the President must be born in the US, why isn't every candidate compelled to prove that? Just askin'.

Chairman Zero injects himself into Michael Vick's success

I thought Obama was supposed to be focused squarely on jobs and the flagging economy, not on weird phone calls congratulating an NFL owner on a good employment decision....

From SportsGrid -- Obama called Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie and commended him for giving Vick the second chance many ex-prisoners never receive.

Would this phone call have been made if Vick's season had been a flop and he wasn't even starting? Like all politicians, Obama wants to be associated with the success and popularity of others. Also, would this call have been made if Lurie wasn't a big democrat donor and supporter of Obama's?

And lastly, call me racist if you want to but, would this call have been made if Vick was a white quarterback? You and I both know the answer to that....that's right, I said it!

EPA deems itself 4th branch of government

In the absence of congressional support regarding Cap-and-Trade, the Obama administration is following through on it's promise to fundamentally transform America by using unelected and unaccountable political radicals, place in positions of power, to do it by issuing CO2 regulations that once in place, will be difficult if not impossible to rescind by subsequent congresses....

The Obama administration intends to create a Soviet-style, centrally-planned economic society overseen by smarmy bureaucrats with no accountability to tax-paying voters who're forced to fund them. New regulations on the FCC, land management, and CO2 use will irreparably harm the economy such that throwing out the old rules in two years will not be able to repair the damage.

Only the most retarded democrat voter still believes in man-made global warming. Even Obama's EPA doesn't believe it, they're just using it as a scary justification for seizing control of the domestic energy industry. With these regulations in place, the prices of literally everything that uses energy to be produced, will necessarily go up.......everything!

I hope you people see what despotic evil arises when messianic politicians are given unlimited control over us and our activities.

President Obummer has no shame

Today Chairman Zero slapped American citizens in the face yet again by giving his favorite union thug the Presidential Medal of Freedom...

From FoxNews -- President Obama today named AFL-CIO President Emeritus John Sweeney as a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor. The award is presented to individuals who have made especially meritorious contributions to the security or national interests of the United States, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.

Just like with the Nobel prize that Obama received, this honor was unearned and is therefor worthless. Anybody who receives the PMF going forward will think twice before being thankful for it.

Obama never does anything except payback campaign donors for past gifts, or lines up future donations. This is what's going on here. Lazy union thugs turned out big for democrats three weeks ago and Sweeney wanted a payback for it.

Obama does a Homer Simpson impression....DOH!

President Obama thinks all us slopes look alike.(In case you're wondering, "slope" is a pejorative name for anybody of Asian descent because our eyes are slanted. American soldiers used it during the Vietnam war. I'm 1/4 Chinese so I use it as a comical self-identifier). Anyway, at the G-20 summit press conference, Obama decided to take a question from the Korean press since they hosted the summit. Here's how it went down....

Heh heh, OWNED! Like most Americans who've not been around Asians of different nationalities(or Africans, South Americans, eastern Europeans, etc), Obama can't tell them apart. Even though it's technically not his fault, it still came across as a final embarrassment to cap off a particularly humiliating G-20 summit for the US.

When the midterms are over, blood runs red in the streets, and the democrats are burying their dead, Obama will kick off a 10 day working vacation as far away as he can get from the electoral carnage. One of his stops will be in India where he'll address, and by "address" I mean "read to", the 780 member Indian parliament. And for the first time ever, a teleprompter will be used in the chamber. How embarrassing!

Teleprompters are textbook-sized panes of glass holding the prepared remarks of the speaker and which rests on top of a tall, narrow pole and flank his podium during speeches.

The Indian newspapers are having to explain what a teleprompter is because they've never seen a politician pretend to be speaking when he's actually reading. India is the largest democracy in the world and Obama doesn't even have respect enough to memorize a simple speech? If the Indian people weren't disillusioned before, they sure will be when they realize The One is a phony douche, and not the charismatic superman he likes to think he is.

Just like in the Wizard of Oz, the man behind the curtain will be revealed, or the teleprompter behind the President as it were, and Obama will be shown to be the shallow but telegenic, empty suit we here in America have known he was all along.

Obama's corruption is boundless

Despite getting $24.9 million from U.S. taxpayers, GE decreased its U.S.-based employees by 18,000 in 2009, according to the company’s 2009 annual report.

According to Standard & Poor's, GE took in $156 billion in revenue in 2009.

You should recall that GE was/is managed by Obama-lick spittle Jeffery Immelt. GE is also the parent company of NBC, the most liberally polluted "news" organization in all the world. Never let it be said that Obama didn't take care of the people who take care of him by funneling taxpayer money to their companies.

For the federal government to ever, EVER rescue any private company, I don't care whether it's a car company, bank, or pop sickle stand, is absolutely unconstitutional and is in opposition to the cornerstone of America....capitalism and the free market.

GE made $156billion in '09, the same year Obama forked over $24.9million of money taken from taxpayers, and GE still outsourced 18,000 jobs to India, China, Mexico, or wherever. You'd think the lapdog media would have something to say about this administration's hypocrisy but they will never abandon The One, they have too much personally invested in his success methodically dismantling the republic piece by piece.

Obama's teleprompter gets a tan

The Reader in Chief even took his teleprompter on vacation with him. How abysmally inept is Obama that he can't even give a brief talk in a Florida parking-lot without reading what somebody else wrote for him? He's worse than local news anchors in terms of his dependency on the teleprompter to spoon-feed to him what he's supposed to communicate. I wonder if he even knows what it says before hand, or is he just blindly reading statements that his handlers thought were the most politically expedient for that occasion?

Obama went to an Ohio construction site to brag about all the stimulus jobs he's created, and being oblivious to the irony of this, cost the local construction workers a full day's pay for their trouble...

The workers were told not to report to their construction project at a nearby hospital Friday, because the Secret Service was shutting it down for security reasons. They also were told that they would not get paid for the forced day off.

Over a trillion stimulus dollars spent and still unemployment is around 10%, more in some states. Obama's ridiculous, 10minute photo-op/PR stunt cost between $500thousand and $1million to stage. This administration continues to completely ignore the facts and claim that they are putting people back to work, yet the "jobs" are short-lived make-work jobs that will evaporate the second the taxpayer money ends.

The reactionary presidency

Tomorrow's meeting between Chairman Zero and BP-CEO Tony Hayward shows that Obama isn't acting to manage the oil spill disaster but reacting to public pressure days or weeks after it's detected....

*When the Deep Horizon blew up and sank, Obama seemed not even to notice, much less visit the area regardless of dire warnings of a massive shore damage possibly in the hundreds of billions. It was only when governors Jindal, Barber, Riley, and Crist created a public outcry by pointing out that the feds were responsible for disaster management, did Obama decide to pay a token visit.

*When the media began reporting on Obama's absence and apparent lack of leadership in the spill matter, only then did Obama give his, "the buck stops with me" speech.

*Only when it was pointed out the the archaic Jones Act of 1920, which prevents foreign ships from doing commerce between American ports unless they fly the American flag and are crewed by Americans, needs to be repealed by executive order immediately so that clean-up aid from other countries may be accepted, did the Obama administration decide to "look into it".

*And only after 55 days of incredulity of the American people as reflected by the increasingly impatient media has Obama decided to meet with BP-CEO Tony Hayward to discuss directly, mano-a-mano, the oil spill, clean up response, and it's implications for future deep-water drilling operations.

Shouldn't the American people expect a leader who acts decisively in an emergency rather than a stooge who reluctantly reacts, and only then when public pressure is applied after the fact?

Let them eat cake

Now that the BP oil leak has been plugged and the spill cleaned up, war between the Korea's has been averted, and Iran has abandoned it's nuclear ambitions, President Obama can finally enjoy a much deserved evening of relaxation and entertainment with his family.....oh, wait!

The Obama's evidently see themselves as king and queen of America. They had their asses kissed by vapid, B-list celebrities for the second time this week at a Ford Theater gathering for Bishop Desmond Tutu(famous America and Jew hater). That The One ignored the anniversary of the D-Day invasion in which several thousand Americans gave their lives to liberate Europe from Hitler's reign of terror, demonstrates his loathing of the military specifically and his dismissal of events that don't include praise of himself, in general.

The Obama's must feel they deserve the sycophantic adoration and deification they get from dumb, Hollywood dingbats. Otherwise how do you explain their constant hosting of lavish parties stocked with worshipful celebrities and other assorted dingle berries, while regular Americans by the hundreds of thousands languish under economic, domestic, and overseas uncertainty and hardship?

We have no one to blame but ourselves for Obama

I found this quote over on Boortz. It's been floating around the Interwebs for a little while and no body's really sure who wrote it but, what difference does it really make? It's spot on....

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The public can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."

The author is exactly right. We can complain about how awful Obama is as President but, how dumb does it make us that we allowed the pernicious media to bamboozle us into voting him into office?

January 20th, 2009 a day that will live in infamy, at least for the Democratic party of the USA.

One year ago, the liberal party was bragging and smiling - slapping each others backs and dreaming of a Dem-better world. McCain had been dispatched back to the retirement home, Palin was dealing with teen pregnancy, a displeased boy-friend -in law, and a state government in shambles and control of the US government was a certainty. Now we emerge from that year and have a much different picture. President Obama is being attacked from his own party about many issues. He is being courted by party insiders to move towards the center. He has lost the senate and will probably lose seats and support in the house in the mid term elections. What a strange world. The once upcoming bright face of liberal politics is now a fading politico that may give you warts if you stand to close. He can surely tarnish your image if you let him. After the first year I give the Obama team a D. The only reason they don't get an F is that we still haven't been overrun by a foreign country, yet. We all need to be thankful for the change and we should approach the future with optimistic caution. Maybe the next 3 years wont be the end of the world as we know it!

Obama's lying about his corruption continues unabated

The corruption and dishonesty of the Obama administration knows no bounds....

"I will finally end the abuse of no-bid contracts once and for all," the senator told a Grand Rapids audience on Oct. 2. "The days of sweetheart deals for Halliburton will be over when I'm in the White House."

Predictably then, we hear about him doing the very thing he promised not to do....

President Zero embarrasses himself and America....again

Here's the embarrassing money shot of President Obama once again groveling, before a head of state of a foreign country. Last time it was the Saudi King. Over the weekend it was Japan's Emperor Akihito. I wonder how the administration handlers will spin this one? Obama was looking for his contact lens? Or, the Emperor is a bit of a low-talker so Obama had to bend over to hear him speak?

Over at Michelle Malkin's site, they've got several pictures of other heads-of-state greeting the Emperor for comparison purposes. Not one head of state bowed. Not because they're disrespectful of Japan's traditions but, because out of protocol, heads-of-state do not bow to one another. They simply shake hands like gentlemen, as equals. Occasionally you'll see a former President bow slightly to a royal head of state but, it's as a private citizen, not as a representative of the US.

Remember when Michelle Obama met with Queen Elizabeth for which a curtsy is appropriate? The media went berserk saying that it would be unbecoming and derogatory for a black woman to show deference to a white monarch with a curtsy. I guess a black President deeply bowing like a submissive servant to Arabs and Asians is different in the eyes of the media somehow...probably because they aren't white.

Obama administration caught cooking the books

As predicted by conservatives, the ridiculous stimulus package did far less in terms of job creation than the administration has led us to believe....

WASHINGTON (AP) - An early progress report on President Barack Obama's economic recovery plan overstates by thousands the number of jobs created or saved through the stimulus program, a mistake that White House officials promise will be corrected in future reports.

The AP review found some counts were more than 10 times as high as the actual number of jobs; some jobs credited to the stimulus program were counted two and sometimes more than four times; and other jobs were credited to stimulus spending when none was produced.

The few jobs that were created are phony, make-work jobs for which there is no real market demand. As soon as the spigot of government money is turned off, every one of those "jobs" will vanish. It's like paying a guy by the week to blow the leaves in your yard. As soon as you no longer have money to pay him, his "job" disappears. But, feckless bureaucrats in Obama's administration aren't interested in results as defined by actual job creation, only the appearance of having good intentions to create jobs, regardless of how ethereal they are.
