On some obscure Spanish language TV station, President Obama did a Q&A on the topic of healthcare. He was asked about it's affordability for a family with a low or modest income, such as $40,000 per year. This was his utterly elitist and out of touch response.....
“if you looked at their cable bill, their telephone, their cell phone bill… it may turn out that, it’s just they haven’t prioritized health care.”
Now, prioritizing your expenses and making luxury sacrifices might be sound economic advice for basic household operations, but to ask an entire family to forego TV and phone service in order to comply with outrageously expensive, government insurance policies when the private market offered tailored policies for far less, is going way too far. What an authoritarian snob Obama is!
Ask not at whom the President looks down his nose, for he looks down at you.

Here's the deal. Nearly everyone in the visible government looks down on the herd. Absolutely everyone in the invisible government does so. You and I are cattle (their word, not mine), nothing more.
The real movers and shakers will not rest until there are but three strata in America, and in the world:
1. The elite who live in unparalleled ease and luxury.
2. The ranch foremen.
3. The cattle.
No matter who you elect ... liberal or conservative, Republican or Democrat ... the same holds true. Those who really run the show don't stand for election, they just pull the strings of those who do.
You are wasting your breath fighting Obama. Either he does what he is told or he gets to star in Book Depository/Grassy Knoll part II. It is the puppet masters you need to be pounding on, Ed.
Now I rail against the puppet masters from time to tome, I just am not sure who precisely they are. I suspect they are the members of the FED, the Wall Street bankers, various and sundry venture capitalists, Pentagon VIP's, and CEO's of military/industrial complex companies. Am I close?
I prefer the long view of the big picture, as you obviously do Isaac, I just don't know at whom to direct my ire. My short view consists of resisting the day-to-day damage done by entrenched politicians who serve the big-picture guys as their hood ornament.....like Obama and probably every President we've had since the 50s.
