False advertising

I blatantly stole these images and the idea from Plancksconstant, but I deemed lampooning Islam to be worth the theft. Anyway, despite truth-in-advertising laws, we all know things are never as they are sold to us. Here are a few examples from the fast-food and Hollywood industries.....

Likewise, Islam is sold to us by our own media as a religion and culture equal to ours, no better and no worse. We should not be judgmental of it regardless of how barbaric we feel the practitioners of it are...

John Kerry is an embarrassment

Without a hint of shame or seemingly to understand the concept of hypocrisy, John Kerry lamented the necessary influence of money in the American political process, during his farewell speech to the Senate yesterday......

"The unending chase for money I believe threatens to steal our democracy itself. After committing numerous acts of cowardice in order to get out of Vietnam quickly and then committing treason by meeting, while in uniform, with the enemy to encourage them to continue fighting us, Kerry amassed a fortune unrivaled in the US Senate by seducing, then marrying, not one but two insanely rich widows. Kerry's fortune of $193 million was entirely earned by men far better than him. 

So to sum up, we are confirming a treasonous coward and shameless gigolo to be our Secretary of State? What a pitiful excuse of a country hates itself so much that it trots out the likes of John Kerry to represent it to the world?

Obama exploits the weak-minded media

The obsequious, main stream media are mindless rabble who swoon over our liberal, black President like undersexed soccer moms at a Justin Bieber concert. They will swallow literally anything Obama says, no matter how outrageous and unbelievable, and then dutifully report it as fact along with the none-too-subtle insinuation that if you question a word of it you are a racist.

Obama doesn't skeet shoot

Earlier this week, as a way of claiming to identify with sporting gun enthusiasts, Pres. Obama absurdly claimed that he shoots skeet regularly with friends up at Camp David, but even the most stridently duplicitous members of the press corps were skeptical and demanded photo evidence. Mentally challenged, lying liar Jay Carney tried to deflect media suspicions by claiming that Obama shoots skeet for fun, not for photo-ops.

Riding to the rescue was lefty blog New Republic with "evidence" of Obama shooting skeet, you can see here in the top picture. But as any golfer like me can attest, Obama has perhaps the worst post-swing golf posture imaginable....it's spastic. And I thought I recognized it from photos I'd seen before. The bottom pic is clearly Obama badly playing golf and it's the same image New Republic photo-shopped in Obama's defense.

Did they really think nobody would notice?

Sandy Hook father was NOT heckled

The mainstream media is apoplectic about a father of a Sandy Hook victim interacting with the gallery at a hearing about gun control. Go to the 15 minute mark for the exchange in question.....

 

Mr. Heslin was not heckled. He asked a direct question of the gallery, even turning around to look at them as he asked the question. Then the gallery paused out of respect for him and only when he didn't continue did someone respectfully answer his question. That's not heckling as the jerks in the press would have you believe.

It is despicable and repugnant that media members would use the Sandy Hook massacre to advance their anti-gun agenda by re-victimizing the parents of the shooting. If Mr Heslin didn't want to be addressed by the gallery, he shouldn't have politicized the murder of his son in a political forum.

Muslims finally invent something useful

Never again let it be said that the backward world of Islam has contributed nothing of note to the advancement of the human species. Before today, very little progress in the way of architecture, literature, the arts, mathematics, education, philosophy, engineering, or medicine has been achieved by Islamic cultures.  

But Iran has proudly announced the introduction of the Ampu-matic finger amputation machine. It's portability alone makes public amputations of fingers a marvel of engineering efficiency.

For your insolent Muslim wife who didn't appreciate her brothers beating and raping her, for your neighbor who insulted Islam by not making a public show of praying 5 times a day, or for your westernized daughter who got caught reading a book, now your humiliation from their misbehavior can be turned into their lost fingers in the public square for all to see.

Who says Muslims can't invent useful technology?

Ask not at whom the senators cackle, for they cackle at you

The Gang of Eight, a bipartisan cabal of senators that will foist an immigration bill on the US, is made up of RINO John McCain, child molestor Robert Menendez, Chuck Shumer, and disappointingly Marco Rubio, among others.

Their comprehensive immigration bill is supposed to allow pathways to citizenship once the border is closed, but once legality is granted, which it will be the second the bill is signed by Obama, it will be political suicide to rescind it if the border doesn't get closed....which it won't. Once the 11 million aliens are legalized, there won't be any political pressure to close the border nor any money to do it with.

The American people are being hoodwinked again. The democrats know that they can immediately add 11 million third-world derelicts to the welfare and food stamp rolls, thereby creating 11 million instant democrat voters. And spineless republicans are going along in the pathetic hope that somehow some of those 11 million will appreciate them and vote republican. News flash....they won't ever vote anything but democrat once the democrats have addicted them to government handouts.

The border will never get closed and the illegals will continue streaming across the red carpet the senate and Obama will have rolled out for them. Weep my friends, weep for the shell of a nation we are leaving to our children.

Martha Raddatz shame herself and her profession.....Robert Menendez is already shameful

Reprobate democrat Robert Menendez has been accused of taking unauthorized trips to the Dominican Republic to statutorily rape underage prostitutes. This weekend on This Week, democrat shill Martha Raddatz didn't ask him a single question about his predilection for little girls. If Menendez was a republican, you can bet Martha would have grilled him mercilessly about his perversions.

Menendez is a big proponent of amnesty for illegals. And by throwing the doors open to all third-world scum to come here and vote democrat, apparently it'll make hooking up with 16 year old girls much less problematic, for instead of flying to South America to satisfy his bizarre sexual appetite, he'll have them here, ready to go.

Flaring......wasting our natural resources

Shale is a huge source of domestic oil, but the release of natural gas is part of the process. That sounds like a good thing to me, but the companies burn off this natural gas because the market price is so low, it's not economical as a production commodity. I'm all for economic autonomy of companies, but burning off all our natural gas by "flaring" in order to keep the prices high is a horrible domestic energy policy.....

From ft.com -- The rapid increase has made the US one of the world’s worst countries for gas flaring. The volume of gas flared in the US has tripled in just five years, according to World Bank estimates and is now fifth highest in the world, behind Russia, Nigeria, Iran and Iraq. 

The flaring is a result, in large part, of the low price of natural gas in North America, which can make it uneconomic to build pipelines and tanks to handle the gas released by oil production. Flaring is often the safest way to dispose of it. 

The lights of the flares burning in the Bakken and Texas’ Eagle Ford shale fields can clearly be seen in night-time satellite photography.

Just at these two shale drilling sites, enough natural gas is flared off to power all the houses in Chicago and Washington, DC combined, indefinitely. Look, can natural gas not be stockpiled, or shipped, or used somehow......anything but burning it off? We are desperate for domestic energy production, but we destroy the cheapest form of it? Unbelievable!
