I'm not sure how an action can express its opposite action, except in physics, but I'm sure if he gives a statement about this it will sound the same. He's full of contradictions. Also, a senator should never skip a senatorial voting, especially when it the voting is whether or not to condemn an article that accuses one of our fine men in uniform of treason. Barack is showing his true colors, and I don't see how he will even get the primary.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26061284.post-588734426979719432007-10-23T09:38:00.000-05:002007-10-23T09:38:00.000-05:00The big problem I see here is an astonishing lack ...The big problem I see here is an astonishing lack of judgement, at best. At worst, he's refusing to salute the flag, and by extension the country, for which he wishes to serve as president. So if that's the case, where is his allegiance? Islam? The U.N.?<BR/><BR/>By publically refusing to place his hand over his heart, he automatically disqualifies himself for the office. I refuse to believe it was an oversight. Placing your hand over your heart is not something you have to think about and conciously do. You have to choose NOT to do it. The question is why?Edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01235046826421680852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26061284.post-44408118439421223302007-10-23T08:03:00.000-05:002007-10-23T08:03:00.000-05:00Code, law, rule - it really doesn't matter. It is ...Code, law, rule - it really doesn't matter. It is a simple display of respect for the symbol of this fine country. Over time millions of wonderful Americans have died to protect and defend this country and its flag. These citizens are collectively rebuked when another citizen shows disrespect to the flag. Obama is no different. All one sees as they watch him, is his true character and his self over country mentality. If elected, he will probably make the national anthem optional at the inauguration and at all future governmental gatherings. Kick him to the ground now.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26061284.post-45763354339061696202007-10-22T10:14:00.000-05:002007-10-22T10:14:00.000-05:00Now I know someone will want to argue that it isn'...Now I know someone will want to argue that it isn't the law to abide by this "Flag Code", but that should never mean that it is ok for Barak, a U.S. senator, to not show his patriotism. If he truly does care about this country, he should know better than to be this ignorant. If he wants to become president, he better start following the code. And Bill Richardson, well thats just kind of funny.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
