Regardless of your or my beliefs, religion should not be the basis for public policy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26061284.post-13745055042023622642008-05-16T08:59:00.000-05:002008-05-16T08:59:00.000-05:00while I do agree that those arguments are largely ...while I do agree that those arguments are largely not valid the biblical foundation set by God in the bible is between 1 man and 1 woman for life. Just for the sake of argument if you don't believe in God or the bible, consider how the human body was created. A man and woman were designed by nature to fit together as a pair.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26061284.post-26261563920337577912008-05-15T17:14:00.000-05:002008-05-15T17:14:00.000-05:00Like it or not gay people are humans just like str...Like it or not gay people are humans just like straight people. They deserve to be treated the same as straight people. And that includes marriage. Churches can ban it if they would like, but our government shouldn't have christian reasons for banning gay marriage. If in some way gay marriage harmed straight people, then yes banning it would be reasonable.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
