They don't want Obama to run - this time. They want him to show up well and garner steam for an '08 campaign. Hillary is the only Dem. that has a slight chance to win in November. The Dem. inner circle hope was that the Republicans would shoot each other down and create havoc among supporters so that upon the general election, said voters would stay away, thus giving the "Liberal LesBo" a fighting chance.

This inner circle knows that America is truly not ready for a female president, especially one with a sleezy whore-monger for a husband. However, they feel that they owe "Slick Willy" this for his stunning defeat over Bush. These ultra-brights know that Edwards is a loser and couldn't win a vote for dog catcher. He's got cash and a great smile, but thats where it stops when he rubber meets the road. The balance of the Democratic potentials have a chance only if the Republicans nominate Chavez, Hussein, or one of the other whack jobs running around in the world.

As the preliminaries spiral out of control, Barak gains momentum, Hillary dies her political death (by the way, he will probably be forced to pick her as a running mate), the Dems start to figure a way to make SanFranNan look good for her campaign, assuming she doesn't do or say something utterly stupid and kill herself. What a great world.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
